Ok, I'm gonna divide this into several parts:ġ. Later I'm gonna put my response with my account when I'll fix the login problem. It would also be the first playable female character in the entire trilogy, something I think Dead Space is lacking in. This may just be my desire to play as Ellie manifesting itself, but either way, in my opinion it's a no-brainer. Now, In my opinion, THIS is a valid area for DLC - a side-story expansion pack, in the style of Severed for Dead Space 2, where we play as Ellie from the moment she's trapped in the Rosetta lab, showing how she got out, and the events that lead her to the top of the Alien Machine at the end.

It's like that entire section of the game was unfinished, like there was going to be other stuff going on but they just didn't have time to do it. As far as he's knows that's Danik radio-ing him to taunt him some more. I mean, they don't even attempt to explain it, just reveal that she's alive and hope that you won't notice and ask too many questions.Īlso, as well as that, the moment Isaac finds out she's still alive, the radio clicks on and HE says first "Ellie, you're alive!" - how the hell did he know she was alive? He can't see her. Kill off one of your main, and fan-favourite, characters, only to have them show up right at the end, revealing they never died in the first place, is a boring cliche at the best of times - but to not even EXPLAIN how they survived their blatant, inescapable death, that's just bad, really, really bad, and lazy to boot. In my opinion this is probably the worst part of Dead Space 3's writing - it's just fucking cheap. Sorry, this really bothered me the first time I played the game, but it slipped my mind on subsequent play throughs, and i've just realised that no one on here seems to be discussing it, so.just how in the fuck did she get out of there?
